The Indian government banned 59 Chinese mobile apps, including TikTok, last month, in June, keeping national security in mind. Now the government has prepared a list of 275 Chinese mobile apps, which can be banned in the coming time. As per reports, the government will scrutinize around 275 Chinese apps for national security violations and users' privacy and if any security breach is found in any of the apps, it will most likely be banned by the government. Last month, 59 Chinese apps including TikTok and UC Browser were banned in India. This list includes apps like Pubg and Jilly. If sources are to be believed, the government will check these mobile apps to find out if they are violating the rules of privacy. In addition, many Chinese Internet companies can also be banned.


Restrictions may be placed on apps like PUBG and YouLike

According to the Economics Times report, the Indian government has prepared a list of 275 Chinese mobile apps and these are being investigated. These include apps such as PUBG GAME, Jilly, Capcut, FaceU, Meitu, LBE Tech, Perfect Corp, Sina Corp, Netiz Games, AliExpress, Reso and ULike.

The Indian government has not yet shared official information related to the ban on 275 Chinese mobile apps. At the moment, the government is investigating the credibility of these Chinese apps. Ministry of Information Technology banned Chinese app

Under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, the Ministry of Information Technology had decided to block these 59 apps as these apps were a threat to India's sovereignty and integrity, defense of India, security of the state and public order. The Ministry of Information Technology had received several complaints regarding these apps from various sources, in which there was talk of misuse of many mobile apps. These apps were stealing data from both iPhone and Android users.

Ban on these Chinese apps

Tiktok-TikTok, Shareite-Shareit, Kawai-Kwai, UC Browser-UC Browser, Baidu Map-Baidu map, Shane-Shein, Clash of Kings-Clash of Kings, DU Battery Saver-DU battery saver, Halo-Helo, Like- Likee, YouCam Makeup- YouCam makeup, MI Community - Mi Community, CM Browser - CM Browers, Virus Cleaner - Virus Cleaner, App Browser - APUS Browser, Romvi - ROMWE, Club Factory - Club Factory, Newsdog - Newsdog, Beauty Plus - Beutry 59 apps have been banned, including Plus, WeChat-WeChat, UC News-UC News, QQ Mail-QQ Mail, Weibo-Weibo.
